News From NSOF | Looking Ahead to 2023

Suzanna FisherJan 06, 2023

"I'm so exceptionally thanktul for this organization. Even when I don't participate in programs, it's extremely reassuring to know that our members and families are not alone. Thank you!" - Active Duty Navy EOD Operator

Impact & Accomplishments

Our dedication to ensuring the exceptional heroes and families of Navy Special Operations always have a place to turn is unwavering.

Since the formation of the Navy Special Operations Foundation less than five years ago, we have served over 6,000 service members and their families throughout the Navy Special Operations Community.

This is an extraordinary accomplishment and one that would not have been possible without your generosity and commitment to NSOF's crucial cause!

The Navy Special Operations Foundation exists to be the singular point of support for the remarkable NSO heroes and their families who have sacrificed so much. We will continue to stay true to our values, expand our impact, and evolve our programming in order to address the unique needs of our warriors and achieve our vision of keeping all of our families in the fight!

As always, the Navy Special Operations Foundation extends our overwhelming gratitude to the amazing donors, volunteers, and advocates who enable us to support our Warriors and their families who have selflessly served our nation.

Looking Ahead

While we take an enormous amount of pride in our accomplishments, we still have a long way to go. We look forward to the future and are excited to share with you what we hope to achieve in 2023!

Board of Directors

NSOF is tremendously honored to welcome Rear Admiral Frank Morneau (USN ret.), as the new Chairman of the Board! We are confident that RADML Morneau's extensive experience, reputation within the community, and leadership will steer us towards increasing NSOF's essential support that our Navy EOD and Diver Community needs!

Additionally, we are proud to announce retired Navy EOD CDR Mark Sanders will join Brad Snyder in assuming the positions of West & East Coast Vice Chairmen. We are certain that the new Board structure which also includes Directors Jordan Bethke & Joe Cockrell, will guide us towards fulfilling our mission more efficiently and on a larger scale.

Critical Care for the NSO Community

With the loss of Lt. Aaron Fowler, EODCS Joshua Christy, and Retired NEOD Operator Ronnie Morton, this year has been a stark reminder that surviving family members and NSO warriors who are still with us need our support more than ever.

We're proud to have provided substantial and immediate support for the Navy EOD & Diver community. Still, we desperately need to increase our capacity to make real impacts for our operators and their families.

We must continue to serve the unserved and provide our heroes-- heroes that have sacrificed so much for our freedoms-- with the programs and services they need and deserve. And we can not accomplish this without your help!
